Storage solutions for distinct technological flows

These tanks can be manufactured with capacities from 20 m3 to 1,500 m3 and made either from glass lined steel with special sealants, or galvanized steel with internal liners, specially designed with distinct compartments for different fluids, stored in a single tank.

Design details

Each compartment in the tank is designed individually or as a storage system integrated into the technological process, based on any strict requirements of the project and the required normatives, in order to reduce a wide range of the total operational costs of the beneficiary.

These storage solutions are engineered to meet all static and dynamic load calculations (wind, seismic, snow), specific to each location, and in compliance with national and international standards

Every storage solution which we design includes the foundation design, orientation and positioning of all internal piping, including their interconnection with the equipments from the technological flow. These services are included in the price of every tank solution and are strictly defined for each project.

Components

Roof: Depending on the stored liquid and tank diameter, roofs range from simple flat designs with drainage slope to more complex conical or dome structures.
Tank Body: It is composed of galvanized or glass lined panels, with thicknesses between 2 and 20 mm, joined by torque-tightening fasteners according to the structural calculations, on which the hydraulic piping system that will serve the technological flow is connected. Also based on these calculations, the anchoring systems, the necessary bracing and the rest of the subassemblies in the accessories requested by each customer are determined and included.
Thermal insulation: it can be applied on request only on the outside of the tank and on the roof, with mineral wool blankets, with various thicknesses according to the heat transfer calculation applicable for each tank and its specific location, protected by a layer of corrugated galvanized steel trapezoidal sheeting, which can be painted in a colour requested by the customer.
Liner (for the galvanized steel version) – it is installed inside the tank, having the task of eliminating the direct contact between the fluid and its metal structure. The type of material from which the membrane will be made will be chosen depending to the stored fluid, its concentration and temperature, ensuring the total absence of chemical reaction between the material and the fluid.
Special sealants and sealing seams are applied between the glass lined panels to ensure a perfect tightness of the tanks. The mastics are selected for each project based on the chemical composition of the stored fluid.
Accessories: We can offer a complex range of accessories, starting from heating coils (in any format), spiral and vertical ladders and stairs of any type and standard, complex SCADA automation and monitoring systems, immersed electric heaters with capacities up to 12kw, different types of side manways for maintenance, complex stainless steel hydraulic systems.
